Platform Terms of Service.
The terms for using BadgerBins accounts and apps.
Effective October 23, 2026
Who provides the platform
BadgerBins is operated by Workbird LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. These Platform Terms govern use of badgerbins.com, community accounts, resident unit pages and the BadgerBins Partner app. Contact hello@badgerbins.com about these terms.
A property’s separately accepted service agreement controls its collection scope, service obligations, prices, initial term, renewal, cancellation and remedies. A separately accepted partner agreement controls an approved partner’s work relationship and compensation. These Platform Terms do not amend either agreement or release Workbird from its contracted service responsibilities.
Accounts and authority
Use an email account you control and provide accurate information. Anyone acting for a property or organization must have authority for the actions they take. Partner applicants must be at least 18 and legally able to enter the applicable agreement. Resident access must be used by an authorized occupant or property representative.
Keep sign in links, email codes and unit QR links private. Do not share another person’s account or attempt to access another community’s records. Tell us promptly if access may have been compromised. Partner sign in and application require the installed app. Installation and a browser location signal do not prove a person’s identity.
Quotes, service and payments
A quote reflects the selected ZIP, units, schedule, access, disposal, supplies and term. Its saved version and expiration control that quote. Service starts only after property coverage, operating readiness, equipment, verified payment and the first collection are confirmed. A quote, signature or payment return page alone does not establish that collection has begun.
The quote separates fixed collection, selected hauling and fuel, the one time $25 equipment fee per unit and optional bags at $0.35 per recorded use. Estimated bag usage is separate from prepaid fixed service. Applicable tax is disclosed before payment. The signed service agreement controls billing and cancellation; this page creates no additional automatic fee or blanket nonrefundable charge.
Stripe handles payment details in its hosted services. BadgerBins does not collect card numbers or banking credentials in its forms. Optional tips, payouts and provider services are available only when enabled and supported. A displayed pending status is not a completed payment, transfer or bank payout.
Software Terms of Service
Effective October 24, 2026
Software access and your team
BadgerBins software is operated by Workbird LLC. Your customer account includes up to 100 active team members across your managed communities, unit QR labels, staff assignments, collection and exception records, resident service notifications and reports. You manage, supervise, insure and pay your own team. Software access does not provide a BadgerBins collection crew, regional dispatch or regional AI management.
Prices, billing and renewal
The base software price is $3.00 per unit monthly, paid in advance, with a 10 unit minimum. Selected 12 and 24 month initial terms receive 2% software savings; 36 months receives 6%. Your payment summary records the exact unit count, monthly amount, initial term and first payment before applicable tax. The selected initial term is followed by monthly continuation at the accepted rate. Request an end to renewal at least 30 days before the term ends through your account or hello@badgerbins.com. No accelerated balance or early termination penalty is automatically charged. A price or unit-count change needs a new accepted payment summary.
Optional services
Printable unit QR labels are included for your own bins. Optional BadgerBins bins cost $30.00 each once, including the unit QR label; physical fulfillment is recorded separately from payment. Optional resident subscriptions use your separately connected company account and separately accepted resident prices. BadgerBins receives 5% of resident collections and actual Stripe processing fees also apply. Your company decides how to pay its staff.
Accounts, records and support
Use an email account you control and accurate community information. Invite only authorized team members and use your own unit records lawfully. Each member uses their own account. Stripe hosts payment details; a return from Checkout is not payment evidence. Service notifications depend on the unit record, device opt in and provider availability. Keep account and unit links private and follow the Privacy Policy. Contact hello@badgerbins.com for software support, billing questions or cancellation requests.
Terms acceptance
Selecting the Terms of Service checkbox and continuing to payment records acceptance for your customer account. It does not sign a collection service agreement or authorize an undisclosed charge. The accepted version and payment amounts are retained with your software subscription. These software terms do not amend an earlier collection agreement or independent partner agreement.
Optional resident collection subscriptions
The property may enable monthly resident collection subscriptions, set ground, elevator and stair rates, and authorize invitations to its own residents. The property company is the service provider and merchant for those subscriptions. BadgerBins charges the company 5% of resident collections, and Stripe deducts its processing charges. The company receives the remaining balance. These charges do not add a processing surcharge to a resident’s accepted price. There is no additional 2.5% team payout fee in this offer.
Residents must verify their invited email, review the exact monthly price and renewal terms, and authorize payment through Stripe. Monthly renewal continues until stopped through the unit account before the next renewal. Existing subscriptions retain their accepted price when the property publishes new rates or closes new enrollment. Ending renewal does not itself create a refund; contact the property company for service and refund review, without limiting statutory rights. BadgerBins can assist with platform and payment record questions at hello@badgerbins.com.
Payment availability depends on the company’s verified Stripe account and platform configuration. A return page is not payment evidence, and a Stripe balance is separate from a bank deposit. Authorized property representatives can view subscription and payment records needed to administer their own service. The property remains responsible for service descriptions, lawful resident communications, taxes and consumer obligations applicable to its offer. These terms do not amend historical collection or partner agreements.
Resident accounts and monthly bags
A unit QR opens the assigned unit service page and connects that device. Possession of a bin sticker does not reveal another resident’s name, email or purchases. Verify an email you control to save your own resident details or recover your connected units on another device. Unit assignment comes from the property roster; email verification does not by itself certify tenancy.
A separate resident bag plan supplies one bag per scheduled service day at $0.35 per bag, averaged using 52 weeks divided by 12 months. The fixed monthly price and exact accepted terms are shown before requesting supply. Monthly bag quantities follow the actual scheduled days in each paid billing period. Two collections in a day still allocate one bag. A property that already supplies bags cannot open a duplicate resident plan.
The regional team confirms supply before checkout. Stripe verifies payment; packing and delivery are recorded separately. Monthly renewal continues until stopped through the unit account before the next billing date. A cancellation confirmation identifies the end of the current paid period. Schedule changes require a reviewed price and fresh consent. Contact hello@badgerbins.com about shortages or a payment or refund review. No label scan, request or payment return is a recorded delivery.
Property and resident responsibilities
Property teams must provide accurate unit information, lawful access, safe routes, approved disposal locations and appropriate resident instructions. Upload contact details only when you are authorized to use them for the service. Review an introduction before authorizing it to be sent.
Residents should follow the property’s confirmed set out times, tie bags, keep exits clear and use the assigned bin. Hazardous waste, loose liquids, construction debris and bulky items are excluded unless separately agreed through a lawful service arrangement. Report missed service, damaged bins and access problems through the unit page or community account. Immediate danger should be reported to emergency services.
Partner applications and work records
Submitting an application does not guarantee approval, jobs, a shipment or earnings. Applicants complete task readiness and route scenarios before company paid Stripe Identity. The minimum application age is 18, with no upper age limit. Questions address actual safe task performance and allow human task support review. Background checks are not part of the current process. In an owner-enabled region, regional AI may make the final access decision only from recorded coverage, readiness, verified Identity and current agreement status. Declines are appealable to a person. A readiness score is not proof of fitness or work experience, and Identity verification does not establish criminal eligibility.
Partners record availability, service radius and accessible route choices. After deliberate acceptance of the current Partner Service Agreement, regional AI may assign a matching current offer in an enabled region. Each assignment identifies the exact work and compensation and is sent through an approved template to the verified account. The public $30+ earnings guide is not a guaranteed hourly wage or a promise of work. Actual pace, access, travel, disposal, expenses and taxes affect effective earnings.
Record work accurately. Job starts require the current camera and location checks shown in the app. QR events, timestamps and photographs may be reviewed against other evidence. Do not submit invented collections, altered evidence, borrowed vehicle photos or generated job photos. Partner classification and the separate work agreement remain subject to applicable law and the actual working relationship.
Use the platform responsibly
Do not upload unlawful material, expose someone else’s private information, interfere with the service, evade access controls, scan units you have not serviced or misuse another person’s QR label. Do not upload identity documents, Social Security numbers, full background reports or payment credentials to ordinary platform forms. Use the designated provider flow when those details are required.
You retain rights in information you submit. You permit Workbird and its service providers to process it as needed to provide the requested service, document work, resolve issues, secure accounts and meet legal obligations, as described in the Privacy Policy. This permission does not authorize public advertising use of private job photos.
Automation and human review
Regional AI uses OpenRouter with scoped operational records. In an owner-enabled full-service region, it may decide partner access from bounded status evidence, assign matching current work, and queue approved-template messages to verified stored recipients. The server rechecks region status, agreement, availability, radius, route access, vehicle requirements, recipient verification and duplicate protection. The AI cannot change signed terms, pay, payouts, prices or determine criminal eligibility.
Identity documents, screening answers, protected traits, raw insurance documents, private job photos and recipient addresses are not supplied to OpenRouter. Requested task support, disputes, legal issues and corrections remain available for human review. Schedules describe planned work; provider acceptance does not prove email arrival, and neither an AI summary nor a QR scan proves a completed collection.
Availability, changes and suspension
We use reasonable care to operate the platform, but internet, device, provider and maintenance interruptions can occur. Reconnect before recording work and check that an action was saved. We may restrict account access to address misuse, fraud, security concerns or a legal requirement, with notice when reasonably possible. Suspension does not erase payment records, earned compensation or rights under a separate agreement.
We may update these Platform Terms by posting a new effective date and giving additional notice where required. Material new obligations requiring consent apply only after that consent. Updated public terms do not rewrite an existing signed service agreement or its retained pricing.
Responsibility and governing law
Each party remains responsible for its own conduct under applicable law. These terms do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, waive mandatory consumer or worker protections, or create an arbitration requirement or class action waiver. Remedies and any allocation of service liability in a separately accepted agreement remain subject to mandatory law.
Delaware law applies to these Platform Terms where that choice is permitted, without displacing mandatory law where a property, user or work is located. Disputes may be brought in a court with lawful jurisdiction, subject to any valid forum provision in the applicable signed agreement. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent permitted by law.
For an account issue, service change, cancellation request or dispute, use your account or email hello@badgerbins.com. A support request is not automatically an approved credit, refund or contract amendment.
