BadgerBins policies

Privacy Policy.

How information supports your service, and the choices you have.

Who we are and what this covers

Workbird LLC operates BadgerBins. This policy describes personal information handled through badgerbins.com, community accounts, resident unit pages and the Partner app. For a privacy request, email hello@badgerbins.com with “Privacy request” in the subject. Do not email identity documents, payment credentials or a full background report.

We use information to provide and administer collection service, connect accounts and units, document work, arrange requested onboarding, deliver transactional messages, process payments, resolve issues, prevent misuse and meet legal obligations.

Information we collect

  • Accounts and property plans. Email, contact name, contracting entity, property address, ZIP, unit labels, building and floor, selected service and signed agreement records.
  • Resident information. Authorized unit email contacts supplied by a property, connected unit device identifiers, service history, issue reports and optional notification subscriptions.
  • Partner applications. Name, email, home ZIP, opportunity radius, selected days, garment sizes, shipping address, screening requests, provider references and review status.
  • Work and vehicle evidence. Accepted jobs, QR events, timestamps, bag usage, exception notes and private photos; declared vehicle, truck photos and insurance evidence when hauling is requested.
  • Billing and support. Invoices, amounts, transaction references, payment status, consent records and messages you submit. Payment card and banking details are entered with Stripe, not ordinary BadgerBins forms.
  • Device and security information. Browser requests, IP related security signals, session identifiers, installation status and logs needed to serve and protect the platform.

Camera and precise location

Starting an assigned job asks for a current camera photo and a fresh device location, including coordinates, accuracy and capture time. These support the property boundary check, work accountability and private operations review. Exception reporting and hauling onboarding also use requested photographs.

The app requests browser permission before accessing the camera or device location. It checks location when you start a job; it does not implement continuous background route tracking. If required permission is declined or the check cannot be completed, that job start cannot proceed through the normal flow. Contact operations for review rather than submitting false evidence.

Uploaded evidence has embedded image metadata removed by the platform. A photograph or browser GPS reading cannot conclusively prove physical presence or image authenticity. Precise job location, selfies and insurance images are kept outside regional AI context. We do not use job photos for biometric face recognition in this app.

Providers and who can see information

Authorized property teams see their own communities’ service records. Partners see the assigned work they need to perform. Authorized operators review records relevant to their responsibilities. Private job start and insurance evidence is restricted; it is not published on resident pages.

  • Stripe provides hosted payments and, when configured, identity verification and payout onboarding. Identity documents, verification selfies and any biometric comparison are handled under Stripe’s hosted notices and consent flow. Workbird retains provider references, verification status and review records rather than copying identity documents into the application. Workbird and Stripe each act as independent controllers for their respective processing. Stripe Privacy Policy.
  • Checkr is not used to order background checks in the current application flow. Historical provider references may be retained when needed. A future program would require its own lawful disclosures, authorization and review before any check. Checkr Privacy Policy.
  • Resend processes recipient details and transactional email content for sign in, requested invitations and service messages. Delivery events may be used to troubleshoot messages. Resend Privacy Policy.
  • OpenRouter and the selected model provider process scoped regional operational context for AI assistance. The application excludes resident contacts, applicant contact and shipping details, identity documents, insurance images, selfies and precise worker location from that context. Provider processing follows their applicable terms. OpenRouter Privacy Policy.
  • Hosting and delivery providers, including OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare in the current deployment, process requests and store application records or private files to operate and secure the service. Your BadgerBins account uses branded email access and does not require a ChatGPT account.
  • Address and notification providers receive the address query or push delivery information needed for a requested feature. Address suggestions use Photon or the configured Geoapify service; verification uses the U.S. Census service. Browser push delivery uses the device browser’s push service.

Information may also be disclosed when legally required, to investigate misuse, protect safety or legal rights, or in a business transfer subject to applicable protections. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising in this platform.

Stripe verification may process personal information outside your state or country, including in the United States, and may use service providers or legally authorized sources. If you cannot consent to the offered verification method, contact us before proceeding to discuss a lawful alternative. Do not send replacement ID photos through ordinary support.

AI assistance and decisions

Regional AI helps prepare schedules, review scoped operating summaries and arrange requested onboarding through bounded tools. In an enabled full-service region, it may make the disclosed evidence-gated partner access decision, assign matching current work and queue approved-template operational messages. It does not make criminal eligibility decisions, change signed prices or approve sensitive financial actions.

You may request correction or human review of an inaccurate decision, assignment or operational record. A provider’s status or AI summary does not replace applicable disclosures, consent, dispute rights or required review.

Cookies, local storage and notifications

Resident signup retains your name, verified email and assigned unit. Resident bag plans retain the agreed monthly price and terms, consent, provider references, payment status and fulfillment records. These account details are private to your authenticated account and authorized operations; they are excluded from regional AI context.

Optional property collection subscriptions retain the exact property price, monthly renewal consent, connected company reference, payment and actual fee records, cancellation and dispute status. The property company can see the records needed to administer its own subscriptions; another resident cannot see your profile or purchases. These billing records are excluded from regional AI context. Stripe hosts company verification and payment details.

Essential cookies maintain account sessions, installed partner access and connected resident devices. The current application uses an account cookie lasting up to seven days, a partner installation cookie up to 30 days and a resident device cookie up to one year. These expire or may be replaced sooner. Quote drafts are kept in browser session storage. The installed app caches public app resources for loading.

The platform does not currently install advertising pixels or behavioral advertising analytics. Hosting security services may set their own essential cookies or process request signals. We do not use browser Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals to change essential service processing; there is no platform sale or targeted advertising activity to opt out of.

Clear browser storage to remove a local draft or device connection, and sign out of your account on a shared device. Clearing storage does not delete retained service or billing records. Notification subscriptions are optional; disable them through the unit app or device settings. Email sign in and essential transactional notices remain separate.

Retention and safeguards

We retain information while needed for the account, service, equipment fulfillment, work review, payments, disputes, security and legal obligations. Signed agreements, financial records and relevant evidence may need to be retained after an account is closed. Retention depends on the record and applicable requirements; this platform does not promise automatic deletion after a fixed number of days. Provider retention is governed by its applicable terms and your rights.

Safeguards include authenticated access, ownership checks, role and region restrictions, private evidence storage, hashed sign in tokens and transport encryption on the public site. No system can guarantee absolute security. Do not put sensitive access codes or unrelated personal information in free text or unit CSV uploads.

Your choices and privacy requests

Use your account to correct available details and manage service requests. You may email us to request access to, a copy of, correction of or deletion of your personal information, withdrawal of optional permissions, or appeal of a privacy request decision. Rights and exceptions depend on applicable law and our role for that record. We will verify authority in a proportionate way and explain any information that must be retained. We do not require sensitive ID documents by email.

Property supplied resident contacts may also require coordination with the property responsible for the roster. Stripe or a screening provider may need to handle a request about information it controls directly. We can help identify the appropriate provider. Requests are handled by a responsible person; the site does not present a deletion button that pretends to erase legal or provider records.

Children and policy updates

The platform is intended for adult property representatives, adult partner applicants and authorized resident use. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information so we can review and take appropriate action.

This policy is effective on the date shown above. We will post changes with a revised date and provide additional notice or obtain consent where required. Material changes do not silently authorize incompatible use of information already collected.
